SARES/SNAP

There are many who have received the SNAP training, including several SARES members and the question periodically arises – "in an emergency which group should I serve with?"

Over the years there have been several hundred within the city that have received SNAP training. There are about 60 actively involved SARES members. Because many of the hundreds will still retain some SNAP skills, SARES skills are obviously in much shorter supply. However, the choice is yours to make.

SARES/SNAP Activation Policy: During a catastrophic occurrence, which ever organization you decide to serve with, you must stay through completion of your assignment. It is absolutely imperative that you don't attempt to simultaneously do both, nor jump back and fourth.
